Club + Resort Chef is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Class of 40 Under 40, the fourth class of the publication’s annual recognition program celebrating the rising culinary leaders shaping the future of the club and resort industry.
Since its launch, 40 Under 40 has highlighted talented chefs whose leadership, creativity and commitment to hospitality are influencing kitchens across the country. Nominations are open through January 4, 2027. First-time nominees and previously nominated chefs are encouraged to apply.
Nominate a Chef for the 2027 40 Under 40
Eligibility and Nomination Process: Nominees must be actively employed in a club or resort culinary role and born in or after 1987. While the honor recognizes culinarians, nominations may be submitted by anyone familiar with a candidate’s work, including executive chefs, club managers, colleagues, members, suppliers and other industry professionals. To maintain the integrity of the program, all nominations will be verified by the Club + Resort Chef editorial team. Please ensure both the nominator’s and nominee’s email addresses are accurate, as nominations that cannot be verified will not be considered.
Honoree Recognition and Benefits: Members of the 2027 Class of 40 Under 40 will receive recognition throughout the year, including:
- Featured in Club + Resort Chef: Each honoree will be profiled in a special section of the March issue of Club + Resort Chef, highlighting their career, accomplishments and impact on the industry.
- Recognition at Chef to Chef: Honorees attending the Chef to Chef Conference will receive special recognition during the event, including a commemorative badge and acknowledgment during the closing awards reception.
- Permanent Online Profile: Each honoree will be featured on the Club + Resort Chef website as part of the growing 40 Under 40 archive, celebrating the chefs helping define the future of club and resort dining. (See the Classes of 2026, 2025 and 2024.)
- Social Media Recognition: Honorees will receive a custom digital badge to share across their websites and social media channels. In addition, Club + Resort Chef will feature each honoree in a dedicated social media spotlight celebrating their career and accomplishments.
