GATE Hospitality Group’s 12th Annual All-Club Culinary Cook Off brought more than 300 members from the group’s four Florida-based membership clubs: Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, The Lodge & Club, Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club, and The River Club.
During the event, the culinary teams from each Club presented two expertly crafted dishes and a signature cocktail, all inspired by this year’s theme of “Dig Deep. Cook Local.”
Each team sources ingredients from within 300 miles of Jacksonville, Fla. Club members served as the judges, casting their votes for the best dish, best cocktail, and best overall performance.
The top honors included:
- Best dish: The Lodge & Club
- Dish No. 1: Short rib “Galbi-Jjim” bao with Florida pickled green papaya, kohlrabi slaw, datil pepper, and kumquat fluid gel
- Dish No. 2: Coconut and mascarpone flan with guava gel, toasted coconut and vanilla cracker
- Cocktail: Golden Grove + Brown & Bitter
- Best cocktail: Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
- Golden Grace + Velvet Vice
- Best overall: The Lodge & Club
Each year, the All-Club Culinary Cook Off brings together members from each club to celebrate culinary excellence, collaboration, and friendly competition.
