Addison Reserve Country Club Executive Sous Chef Hannah Flora-Mihajlovic was named runner-up on the 23nd season of FOX TV’s Hell’s Kitchen, hosted by Chef Gordon Ramsay.
“To have the honor to work alongside Gordon Ramsay and have him recognize my skills and talent are beyond belief,” says Flora-Mihajlovic.
In addition to support from her club, she received congratulations and praise from clubs across the nation throughout her time on the show.
“This elite group of clubs and resorts is very supportive,” she says. “Being able to represent the private club world and showcase the talent that lies within them is monumental. Not only do club chefs have a vast knowledge of all cuisines, but they manage their teams with respect and class.”
Ultimately, Flora-Mihajlovic sees her title of ‘runner-up’ as a win, and she is grateful for the experience and the opportunities that Hell’s Kitchen allowed her.
“I am thankful that I was able to lead my team in the finale with respect, support, knowledge, and creativity,” she says. “Who I am as a leader did not deviate that evening. My brigade on the finale service all have such talent and individual skills that, in my eyes, led us to be successful, regardless of the outcome. I am truly proud of each one of them and proud of myself for staying true to my character and holding my integrity.”
In the future, Flora-Mihajlovic says she looks forward to continuing to thrive in club culinary.
“My goals ahead will incorporate club talent, individuality—and I would love to continue to be a strong female presence and positive role model in the industry,” she says. “This is just the beginning; I have some amazing things planned.
