The arrival of the Ecusta Trail in Western North Carolina—a scenic, 19-mile greenway connecting Hendersonville to Brevard—provides a safe and beautiful corridor through the Blue Ridge mountains, shares Hendersonville Country Club Executive Chef Steve Boeger. In harmony with this development, Hendersonville CC debuted a line of custom cycling jerseys and mountain biking tops, which Boeger—an avid cyclist himself—helped to create.
“Cycling is a sport and a lifestyle,” says Boeger. “No matter why you ride, the benefits extend well beyond the miles traveled. We wanted our members to have apparel that reflects their passion for the outdoors while connecting them to the heritage of Hendersonville Country Club.”
Available in the club’s golf shop, the jerseys feature the HCC logo, designed with comfort and function in mind. Engineered for long rides and versatile enough for both road and trail, the collection offers members a way to seamlessly combine athletic pursuits with a touch of club identity.
The Ecusta Trail has quickly become a hub of community energy, Boeger notes. Families stroll, runners log miles, and cyclists of all levels enjoy a safe, scenic route through Western North Carolina’s natural beauty. For HCC members (and staff) the new jerseys offer a tangible way to join this movement while proudly representing the club.
“Cycling keeps me balanced,” Boeger adds. “It’s about both discipline and joy, as well as exploring the community we’re lucky to call home. Wearing the HCC logo on the trail adds a special connection.”
