Knouse Enhances Breakfast and Brunch Offerings

Knouse Foods’ products, under its Lucky Leaf and Musselman’s brands, add quality and diversity to breakfast and brunch menus, with fruit fillings, apple juice, cheese sauces, and more.

A recent study by Technomic reveals that nearly nine out of 10 consumers eat brunch at a restaurant at least occasionally. Additionally, Mintel predicts breakfast sales will increase 22.1 percent between now and 2017.

To help chefs and operators remain on-trend and enhance breakfast and brunch offerings, Knouse Foods provides an assortment of products under its Lucky Leaf® and Musselman’s® brands.   • Fruit-Stuffed French Toast: Lucky Leaf Fruit Filling or Topping helps transform a classic dish into something special when it’s used to fill the center of this baked version. Top with more Fruit Filling and pour on maple syrup for a final kick.
  • Pudding Parfaits: This easy-to-make parfait is layered with Musselman’s Apple Butter, butterscotch or vanilla pudding and streusel for texture and crunch.
  • Apple Butter Baked Oatmeal: Oatmeal is baked with Musselman’s Apple Butter, cinnamon, maple syrup and almonds for a flavorful and filling treat.
  • Maple Sausage, Apple, and Sweet Onion Brunch Tart: A flaky pie crust is filled with sliced apples, sausage, onions, Lucky Leaf Apple Fruit Filling or Topping, pecans and oats, and then drizzled with maple syrup to create this sumptuous tart.
