Libbey® Releases Stylish Glassware Products

By Brandi Shaffer | May 6, 2014

To match today’s wine trends being driven by the younger generation, Libbey® has released new glassware products that meet their desire for experimentation with varietals, unique styles and creative presentations. The products are crafted with distinct, modern designs.

“It’s no secret that Millennials are driving growth in the wine market,” said Susan J. Dountas, director, foodservice marketing for Libbey. “These products were designed to empower our customers to capitalize on this opportunity by encouraging experimentation with wine varietals and delivering distinctive tasting and presentation experiences.”

Taster Flight: The new Stemless Taster and Wood Serving Flight can help create a robust wine tasting program designed to entice guests and boost wine sales. Suited for any varietal of wine, the tasters are 6¼ ounce capacity – perfect for a 2 to 3 ounce tasting pour. The durable rubberwood paddle has four wells, and is versatile for use with other Libbey glassware for beer, spirit or even dessert samplers.

Vina Tilt Decanter: Hand-blown by glass artisans, the new Vina™ Tilt Decanter adds an element of surprise and sophistication to formal wine-by-the-bottle presentations, and the finely polished, cold-cut rim and angled neck make handling and pouring a breeze.

Spiegelau Style: Spiegelau’s Style series of wine glasses have a modern shape that emanates aesthetics and presence, while providing a high level of functionality and durability. The classic beauty and uniformity of design makes the Style collection a quintessential element of fashionable wine service.
