Nominate a Chef for the 2026 Class of 40 Under 40
Eligibility and Nomination Process
Nominees must be actively working in a club or resort culinary setting and born in or after 1986. Chefs who have already been named to a previous 40 Under 40 class are not eligible to be honored again. However, individuals who were nominated in past years but not selected may be nominated again. Nominations may be submitted by chefs, managers, colleagues, members, suppliers, or other industry professionals. Self-nominations are also encouraged. This process ensures recognition reflects the wide range of talent driving club and resort culinary programs forward.
Honoree Recognition and Benefits
Selected honorees will gain visibility and recognition across multiple platforms:
- Featured Publication: Honorees will be profiled in the March issue of Club + Resort Chef, highlighting their achievements and contributions.
- Chef to Chef Conference: Honorees who attend the 2026 Chef to Chef Conference will be formally recognized during the event.
- Online Recognition: Each honoree will be featured permanently on the Club + Resort Chef website with a profile detailing their professional journey. The archive of honorees grows each year and highlights the chefs leading the way for the next generation. (See Class of 2024 and Class of 2025.)
- Social Media Recognition: Honorees will receive a digital badge to share on their professional platforms, giving them an opportunity to showcase their recognition to peers and employers.
Each year, honorees bring new ideas and fresh perspectives that inspire others and raise the standard of excellence in club and resort kitchens. The 2024 and 2025 classes have already made a powerful impact through their contributions in articles, interviews, and industry conversations.
Nominations close February 3, 2026.
