Registration Opens for the 2025 Chef to Chef Conference

Chef to Chef offers three days of learning, networking, and exclusive tours, providing actionable insights for club and resort chefs.

By Joanna DeChellis, Editorial Director, Club + Resort Chef | September 25, 2024

Registration is now open for the 2025 Chef to Chef Conference, which will be held March 23rd to 25th at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Chef to Chef is designed for club and resort chefs who are serious about growth, innovation, and making lasting connections with peers who face the same challenges and opportunities.

At Chef to Chef, attendees don’t just attend educational sessions and networking events—they walk away with practical, relevant strategies that can immediately impact their kitchens and culinary teams. The focus is on providing knowledge that matters, from exploring evolving culinary trends to understanding how to lead and inspire teams.

The conference begins on Sunday afternoon with a sponsor showcase, pre-conference workshops and a welcome presentation, followed by Taste of Charm City’s Club Culinary Scene, an exclusive reception at Baltimore Country Club’s Five Farms clubhouse. Attendees will have the chance to enjoy signature dishes prepared by top local clubs, including Elkridge Club, L’Hirondelle Club of Ruxton, Green Spring Valley Hunt Club, Rolling Road Golf Club, and Baltimore Country Club. This event offers a unique opportunity to experience Baltimore’s finest club cuisine while connecting with industry peers in a vibrant, collaborative setting.

The next day, a packed agenda of education sessions and live cooking demonstrations follows. These sessions cut straight to the important stuff: actionable insights on a variety of topics, such as dry-aging seafood, mastering authentic barbacoa and tamales, the evolution of pastry programs, AI in kitchen operations, and launching apprenticeship programs. On Monday afternoon, for the first time since 2020, the Chef to Chef Conference will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of some of Baltimore’s most renowned clubs. Included with registration, these tours provide attendees with transportation and the chance to explore the culinary operations of top-tier clubs, including Baltimore Country Club at Roland Park, Chartwell Golf & Country Club, Woodholme Country Club, and The Center Club. Each tour offers a rare look at how these clubs manage everything from kitchen layouts and workflows to executing high-volume events and daily dining services. Space is limited, making this a valuable opportunity to witness best practices in action and learn directly from the chefs who run these operations.

“Chef to Chef is about giving attendees the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to drive their clubs forward,” says Joanna DeChellis, Editorial Director for Club + Resort Chef and Club + Resort Business. “It’s designed to deliver actionable insights that chefs can immediately apply to improve their operations and elevate their teams.”

Space for each club tour is limited, so early registration is encouraged to secure your spot on the tour that interests you most. Your registration also grants access to the Taste of Charm City’s Club Culinary Scene Kickoff Party (with transportation), all meals and breaks on Monday and Tuesday, educational sessions, live cooking demonstrations, and all networking opportunities. Additional highlights include the Chef to Chef Crab Fest, the Club + Resort Chef of the Year competition and reception, and the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.

Please note that hotel accommodations are not included in the registration fee. To make your stay as convenient as possible, we have arranged a special room block at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, the conference venue. Booking within the Chef to Chef room block ensures that you stay right in the heart of the event, offering easy access to all conference activities, networking opportunities, and amenities. Be sure to secure your accommodations early to take advantage of the exclusive rates available through this block and before the block sells out.

Early-bird registration is available at a discounted rate of $2,850 until December 31, 2024. After that, the standard attendee rate of $2,950 will apply, with a late registration fee of $3,200 for those registering after March 8, 2025. By registering early, you not only secure your spot at this highly anticipated event but also take advantage of the best pricing available.
