Southern Pride has announced the launch of the SRG-800, a gas-fired, wood-burning, stationary rack smoker offering a double-wide design compared to the popular SRG-400, with dimensions of 43″L x 87″W x 76″H, providing increased workspace and capacity.
The SRG-800 boasts a powerful 100,000 BTU heat source, an upgrade from the SRG-400’s 65,000 BTU, delivering equivalent heat consistency to the increased cabinet size. With 120-volt electrical requirement and versatile natural or LP gas options, the new model maintains ease of use while providing the same thermostat temperature range of 140°F to 325°F.
Designed for larger operations, the SRG-800 offers increased capacity with 18 rack slides with 1-1/2” spacing, and comes standard with (5) 26” x 56” product racks. Air distribution is optimized with outlets on the left, right and back, ensuring even heat and smoke distribution. The unit’s compact footprint and base weight of 1,100 lbs. make it a practical yet powerful addition to any kitchen.

“We’re excited to bring the SRG-800 to market, offering our customers a larger capacity stationary rack smoker,” says Jared Robertson, President at Southern Pride. “This model reflects our commitment to innovation and quality in the art of smoking.”
The SRG-800 is ETL Safety and Sanitation certified. This equipment must be vented in accordance with the Owner’s Manual and the installation must comply with NFPA® 96 and all relevant local and national codes and in a manner acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction.
The SRG-800 is now available for order through an Authorized Southern Pride Distributor.
