Part 1: Tips and Tricks for Better Smartphone Food Photography

By Joanna DeChellis, Editor, Club + Resort Chef | June 29, 2021

In this webinar sponsored by Libbey, Leigh Loftus, a nationally recognized professional food photographer, teaches chefs how to take better food photos using only their smartphones.

As we all know too well, it’s very easy to take bad food photos. In this on-demand webinar, Leigh Loftus, a nationally recognized professional food photographer, will explain how easy it is to work with natural light and how to compose a striking food photo, using your smartphone like a pro.

Register for part two of this webinar series on June 30th at 2 pm EST by clicking here.

After the second part of this webinar series, attendees will have the opportunity to compete in the Club + Resort Chef Food Photography Challenge. In order to compete, you must have attended both webinars. You will enter the contest by posting your best food photos to social media and tagging @clubresortchef, @libbeypro and @iam_leighloftus.

The winning dish and photo will be featured in the 2022 Club + Resort Chef Cookbook and the winners will receive a light kit courtesy of Libbey as well as access to Leigh’s full online photography course.
