For the second year in a row, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is sending a food truck down one of America’s coasts, picking up members of the company’s culinary team along the way to showcase local cuisine and exclusive menus.
Running from September 15 through November 11, this year’s Food Truck tour began in Boston and will travel to Miami, spending up to six days each in nine cities. Stops include Philadelphia’s LOVE Park, Piedmont Park Farmers Market in Atlanta, and the Food Truck Roundup in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.
Street food menus will vary by city, with lobster rolls in Boston, pastrami sliders in New York, and boiled p-nuts, Savannah crab cake sandwiches and pumpkin moon pies in Atlanta.
“After a great run down the West Coast last year, we are thrilled to kick off our East Coast tour,” says Guy Rigby, Vice President of Food and Beverage, Americas.
A portion of the Food Truck’s revenue will be donated to a local charity in each market, benefitting causes such as breast cancer awareness, foster care, education, and pediatric oncology research. All items are priced at $10 and under.
“An integral part of our commitment to food-and-beverage offerings remains showcasing—beyond the walls of the hotel—the creativity and vast expertise of the culinary teams found in hotels and resorts around the world,” says Rigby. “The Four Seasons Food Truck embodies this, providing a canvas for each culinary team to bring creativity to their community in a way that is unexpected for a luxury hotel company.”
