Nick Barrington, CEC, ACE, Executive Chef of East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, has more than 30 PGA Tour Events under his belt. At the 2024 Chef to Chef Conference, set for March 3-5 in Austin, Texas, he will provide valuable insights into the intricate world of culinary operations during top-tier golf events.

Drawing from his extensive experience, Barrington will delve into the logistical challenges that culinary teams face and reveal the tried-and-true best practices required to execute a Tour-level event flawlessly. With a wealth of knowledge gained from his roles at Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Club & Lodge during the Arnold Palmer Invitational and East Lake Golf Club during THE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP & FedEx Cup,  Barrington will share firsthand accounts of his experience with attendees.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the specific expectations and standards set by professional golfers and Tour Partners when it comes to culinary excellence, says Barrington, “while energizing their team and not burning out.”

In 2024, the Chef to Chef Conference heads to Austin, Texas, March 3-5. The 2024 agenda includes culinary demonstrations and education sessions by many of the industry’s best and brightest culinary leaders, plus networking and social events.

“With all club chefs must deal with on a day-by-day basis,” says Barrington, “it is super important to meet with fellow chefs and industry leaders in an environment that is energizing to the culinary soul and lets us all know that we are not alone. It is important for mental health wellness. … I love country clubs and what it allows chefs to do regarding culinary. … [At Chef to Chef], I’m looking forward to learning from my fellow club chefs and the latest concepts and ideas they are using at their locations.”
